The Westminster Health Forum Keynote Seminar: The future of the health and social care workforce - leadership, management and continued professional development.

CfWI Chief Executive Peter Sharp will be speaking on Leadership and management - meeting the challenges of reorganisation.

The seminar will bring key stakeholders together with policymakers from Government and Parliament to discuss the next steps in healthcare development and training within the NHS.

Drawing on key themes in Liberating the NHS: Developing the Healthcare Workforce, which called for the restructuring of the training and development of the workforce to reflect the wider restructuring within the NHS, delegates will discuss the impact of moving delivery of training away from a national strategy, operated through strategic health authorities and local deaneries, to a local-based strategy through clinical commissioning groups.
