Your workforce is your most expensive and valuable resource. At a time when direct funding for social care is reducing, you need to ensure that workforce leadership is effective in your organisation. This stimulating new four day course from the Institute of Public Care (IPC) at Oxford Brookes University will help you to ensure that you find, develop and retain the best staff possible. The course focuses on practical skills: it is highly interactive and will equip you with tools, methods and transferable skills to apply in your organisation.

The course is aimed at senior operational managers, HR managers and workforce development managers in provider organisations and local authorities. Attendance will help you to develop the right skills mix to operate successfully and maximise workforce retention and satisfaction.

This four day course takes place in Bath on 3 & 4 October and 31 October & 1 November 2012.

The IPC is a partner organisation of the CfWI, offering expertise and advice on social care.
