The Centre for Workforce Intelligence (CfWI) is the national authority on workforce planning and development in England, providing advice and information to the NHS and social care system. Our mission is to become the primary source of workforce intelligence for health and social care. We produce quality intelligence to inform better workforce planning, in order to improve people's lives.
The international branch of the department handles health policy, practice and care internationally. We work with multilateral organisations and our bilateral partners.
CfWI held an international workforce planning seminar in July 2010 with guests speakers offering international intelligence.
This international area includes details our aims to enhance the existing work of the International Medical Workforce Collaborative and develop links with non-medical and allied health professions and scientists through our international networks.
