Learning circles
The CfWI is committed to becoming a learning organisation:
'...where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where new and expansive patterns of thinking are nurtured, where collective aspiration is set free, and where people are continually learning to see the whole together' (Professor Peter Senge, The fifth discipline, 1990).
The CfWI learning circles bring together national leaders and experts to explore key workforce issues in different fields of health and social care.
Each learning circle engages CfWI and external colleagues who share a common interest and passion for workforce issues relating to a specific field, and are willing to share the experiences of their practice.
Each learning circle is facilitated by a member of the CfWI leadership team and is an ongoing part of our engagement with specific sectors.
The learning circle can influence and advise on the CfWI’s work, share practice and, where appropriate, work in partnership with the CfWI. Members have a responsibility to act in the best interests of the group. The group as a whole operates as a ‘community of enquiry’ working together effectively to create solution-focused thinking.
