Introducing the CfWI maternity care pathway workforce model

A presentation from the breakout session from the third CFWI Annual Conference, 2012, on the CfWI maternity care pathway workforce model.

The workshop, led by Chris Owen, Senior Consultant, CfWI; Maxine Chong, CfWI Maternity Specialist and Head of Midwifery, WyeValley NHS Trust and Maria Dore, Head of Midwifery and Women’s Services, University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.

The CfWI maternity care pathway workforce model will help providers to review their staffing for the maternity care pathway and analyse the workforce implications of future changes to the local pathway. During this session delegates will be able to see the new resource, as well as hear from a maternity service about their experiences using the model and make comments on the test version.
