The future of the surgical workforce
Peter Sharp, Chief Executive of the CfWI, gave the Alan Apley Memorial Lecture at the 41st British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) instructional course, presenting on the future of the surgical workforce.
Throughout the year, the BOA holds instructional courses that are of critical value for those trainees preparing for their FRCS examination. The guide used by examiners when assessing candidates is whether their knowledge and skill levels are consistent with a day one consultant.
The BOA held its 41st Instructional course on 14-15 January 2012 at the Manchester Conference Centre.
